Our Leisure Time holiday to Ostend at the end of July 2011 was a really nice break. The driver, Charlie, was on top form and the upgradeed hotel given to us was excellent. I still cannot believe that the room I had was as good as it was - thank you very much. The food was good and the waitresses couldn\'t do enough for you. I am already looking for a winter break - of course with Leisure Time again....

7 of us have just had a 3 day holiday with Leisuretime to celebrate my Birthday. We had a wonderful weekend and the value for money was great. We paid £99 and stayed in the Sandringham Hotel Weston super Mare for 2 nights. The hotel was excellent with really friendly staff who couldn\'t do enough for us. They were as happy at breakfast as they were in the evening. They obviously liked working there. Its\' an old hotel but spotless, our rooms were clean and the en-suite bathrooms excellent. We went to Wells on the 2nd day and Bath before we left on the Sunday. Weston is a great place for a family holiday and the renovated Grand Pier is good fun. It took me back to my childhood. Meals were good and there was a free bar from 7.30-10.30 and even entertainment on both nights. I just can\'t fault this weekend away ,I don\'t know how they do it. Our driver Caroline was so efficient. She had our bags loaded onto the coach in double quick time so no time was wasted. She was an excellent driver, we all felt safe and comfortable with her at the wheel. Well done Leisuretime, we will certainly be booking with you again. ...

Just got back from a London trip with Leisuretime. The hotel was tremendous, but the coach picking us up was a bright yellow school bus, with the rear bumper held on with black tape and one of the windows full of water. There was no toilet on the bus, much to the chagrin of the entire rear seat passengers, who were absolutely rotten drunk from the minute they got on the bus. At every stop (including Maesteg!) they ran off the bus to go to the toilet, with the result that we were on the bus for 4 hours and still in Wales and the driver then had to have his required 45 minute break in Magor. The trip had been advertised as 3 days, 2 nights, but we didn\'t get to our hotel until 5.15pm and I had already booked tickets to the London Sea Life Centre, which were wasted. The driver was very pleasant and helpful, but the bus was a mess. The trip back home was even worse, as the women at the back of the coach were already rotten drunk at 8.30am, despite the Terms and Conditions stating that no alcohol was allowed. They insisted on taking over the microphone and playing bingo with vulgar references; they sang constantly all the way home; they threatened to urinate on the floor if the driver didn\'t stop and then they dropped their empty vodka bottles on the floor. Never again!...

Have had quite a few hildays with Leisuretime and have always been very happy with everything. Isle of Wight - really good. Torquay - Very good and we have been to other places with always above expectation - however Grimsby/Lincolnshire - very dissappointing wouldn\'t go there again. I think Isle of Wight again this year and maybe Torquay a bit later on in the year....

I can’t understand people moaning. We are from Blackwood and get the Leisuretime feeder service to the coach. It’s FREE. We are regulars and never have to wait long at the services going or coming home. I suppose anyone who wants a personal taxi should pay for one themselves or go with Edwards and pay a fortune for the same holiday like we did once what a rip off. Leisuretime holidays are brilliant value. ...

We went in a group with Leisuretime over New Year. We had a ball and everything was jusr right. Most people complain when they write these reviews just to bad mouth the companys But I wanted to tell everyone that we always go with Leisuretime and get really good value and great trips. I\'m going with my wife on one of the platinum trips next - a bit more money but it\'s our anniversary....

Leisuretime is by far the best. The value you get is unbelievable. I can\'t work out how they can do holidays for the prices that they do. I have never has a bad hotel or coach yey and I\'ve been lots on times. There is the occasional hiccup but I have paid a lots more with other companies and had the same thing - just things like road delays or bad weather which no one can help (NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!). Any minor points are sorted out really quickly. I think the staff are great too and freindly. You need to go in to one of the shops (in St Davids Centre and on by the bus station in Cardiff and I think they have them in Bridgend and Barry now too). They have lots and lots of differnt trips. I have seen them in the local newspapers too. Lots of people I speak to go many times in the year beacuse the prices are so good. Keep it up Leisuretime - you changed my life. Thanks ...

I must say that we travel with Leisuretime about 4 times a year and are always pleased but this was one of the best trips we have had. Coach great, hotel really great and the driver was a true pro. just been to the burlington hotel in torquay with leisuretime it says short stroll to harbour it dosent say 25 mins walk down a mountain, the hotel is not really suitable for seniors or persons with walking problems, entrance door is narrow, steps are slippery, rooms could be cleaner, not allowed to go out on sun terrace from 6pm till 8am so in the hot evenings you have to sit&sweat or walk around to the front of the hotel, food good, staff pleasant coach clean, driver great but no leg room, no reclining seats or toilet ...

We have just returned from a weekend stay at Harlands Hotel in Blackpool. First I want to say what a really helpful driver Graham was, nothing was too much trouble for him & informed us of everything he could, traffic delays etc., We arrived at Harlands Hotel little later than planned, due to traffic delays etc., but our food was served immediately we arrived in the Dining Room. Cannot praise this Hotel enough, as was clean, food was excellent, Owner - Graham & his staff could not do enough for us. For what we paid, this was a really enjoyable weekend and want to thank Graham our Driver, and also Graham & staff at Harlands Hotel which we will highly recommend ...

After reading so many complaints, I have to say that when my husband and I went to Bosworth Hall with Leisuretime last year we thought it was fantastic and really cheap too. The coach was fine, the hotel was great, the excursions were good, there was a swimming pool and gym too in the hotel, and we loved it. We went some time later with another company - Diamonds, I think - and although it was okay, it wasn\'t as good as leisure time and it cost more as we had to get taxis at both ends to the service station (at £20 each way), whereas with leisure time we just walked 5 minutes around the corner in Caerphilly and were picked up by a feeder coach. It was great!...

Just returned from a trip to Lake Garda with Leisuretime. Fantastic trip and great value for money. Boarded the coach at Bridgend and after 2 stops in Cardiff and Newport we travelled to the port. The coach was clean, new and comfortable. We stopped at a hotel in France on the way to Italy. On arrival in Lake Garda. We were staying in a wonderful hotel. The staff were fantastic and made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were large and the hotels facilities were great. The friendly driver took us on some interesting excursions whilst we were in Italy. We stopped again on the way back in a comfortable, stop off hotel. Within a week of arriving back in Bridgend i wasted no time booking a trip to Andorra with Leisuretime....

A disaster of a weekend to London and Hairspray last weekend-driver didn\'t know where he was going-journey was 2 hours longer than it should have been-\'coach\' was infact a minibus-a triple room was a twin with a rickety, roll out camp bed as the 3rd bed. A very very disappointing trip....

I went on a tour to the Cotswolds with Leisuretime and the bus they had used must have been from the last century. I am not the tallest woman in the world and I am not overweight, but there was not enough leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me. Well, so much that I tried to move up with my bottom on the back of the seat. Thanks God it was a short tour. Even though it took only about two hours to get to our destination I had enough aches and pain. For your information, I am only 40 years old. How horrible must it be for tall seniors. I wanted to go to the Lake Districts with Leisurtime, but will not use them again....

Just returned from 8 day holiday in Diano Marina, Italy, the holiday destination is fantastic but there is always a but!,the hotel Villa Igea is between a busy road and rail track, so not much sleep! The drivers were arrogant and lied to passengers on too many occasions to list here, they spoiled the holiday! please do not use this company for long distance travel, if you value your sanity!...

My wife and I travelled to York and Harrogate from Sarn on Sept 19, when coach arrived we thought it was a feeder as it was only a 35 seater Mini Coach, it proved to be coach for full journey, far too small as seats were cramped and after reaching our hotel just outside Leeds we were aching all over, same on return journey. This type of coach is not suitable for long journeys. The hotel which had been changed day before we left was Ramada Jarvis which we found excellent and so was the food. York really worthwhile but Harrogate on a Sunday is very poor, would have preferred another day in York. A lovely weekend spoilt by the coach it will take days to get over aches and pains of such a long cramped journey....

Went to the Rhine Valley a few weeks ago. Were not given pick up time for feeder bus until the day before due to travel. Ferry not booked, but coach driver managed to sort this out. Coach broke down on penultimate day of holiday and instead of leaving for UK at 8am we had to hang around until 6pm. Coach broke down at motorway service station in Belgium on way back, fortunately my cousin and my husband who are both engineers managed to fix it but this meant catching 2.30am ferry. Coach broke down again at ferry terminal, again cousin managed to get it going. When we arrived at Dover the coach started but kept losing power and had to be nursed along by the driver who just kept it going back to South Wales. The hotel rooms were Ok, the food excellent and the staff wonderful(especially on the last day when we were delayed)...

ON A RECENT LEISURETIME 6 DAY BREAK TO GERMANY, WE WERE DROPPED OFF IN STRASSBURG FRANCE. IN A LARGE NON ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY WE GOT LOST, AND WERE HALF AN HOUR LATE GETTING BACK TO THE COACH. THE COACH HAD LEFT WITHOUT US WITH NO MESSAGE LEFT WITH THE CAR PARK ATTENDANT AND NO EFFORT MADE TO CONTACT THE ONE MEMBER OF OUR PARTY WHO STAYED AT THE HOTEL TO GET OUR CONTACT NUMBERS AND ARRANGE TO MEET ETC. leisure time are good value for there money if you got lots of comlaints then pay more money go els where and anoter thing that gets on my nerves is people moaning about drivers driving hours after 4 and half hour driver has to have 45 min break As my husband is a coach driver and remember this the driver gets up real early to pick every one up and did you know IT THE LAW for them to stop know you do. and i think people out there should respect the drivers not comlain about them stopping its not there fault IT LAW...

I thought I would give Leisuretime a try as I was advised they gave value for money. How wrong I was to use them. from booking I never received my tickets or luggage labels, coach arrived late 40 mins and the driver just got out and said nothing. The coach was almost as old as the people on it executive coach my elbow it was poor. Picked upin Cardiff as I said late travel as far as Magor services to be told that we were stopping for 45mins due to his driving hours and he chipped about all the pick-ups that he had and if we had a complaint to speak to Leisuretime. Arrived at the hotel in Torquay 4pm as driver decided to stop again en-route at a garden centre. Hotel was poor the Burlington Hotel like stepping back in time. I have learned from this that for what you are paying is what you get a poor coach and driver and a sub standard hotel. I will never use them again. My advise give them a miss ...

Just returned from a 4 day break in the Carlton Hotel in Sandown, Isle of White . I enjoyed the holiday but unfortunately on the return journey we had to wait nearly an hour for the mini bus to pick us up from Cardiff gate to take us to our various destinations .As I live in Porthcawl ,this meant that due to the other various \'drop off points\' such as Barry,Cardiff ,Dinas Powys and Llantrisant meant that it took nearly another 2 hours before I arrived in Porthcawl! ...

I went to Amsterdam in March with leisuretime, the hotel was absolutely great and the staff were ever so helpful, the bus driver was also helpful and gave us many tips about how to get around the city and transport tips, unfortunately a stag party had also booked this holiday and made the long journey to Amsterdam from Wales a nightmare, having been on the coach for 21 hours (owing to ferry delays)a drunken stag party was the last thing we needed and most couples on the trip lost their sense of humour in Calais, I think that we should of been warned that a stag party would be joining the coach so we could make an informed decision as to whether we wanted to go or not. The rest of the holiday was fab, but this incident spoiled the break for both myself and my husband (celebrating our silver wedding anniversary) and most of the other people on the trip, we had all decided that if the behaviour had contined on the return journey that we would all leave the coach and refuse to get back on until the stag party had been removed. ...

I went on a day trip with leisuretime on Saturday the 12th April 07,to Malmsbury market town and Castle Coomb in Wiltshire, it was a lovely trip and the driver and courier very helpful throughout the journey. We had a very enjoyable day visiting the two locations, although at Castle Coomb the coach cannot go into the village, so its a very long walk down a very steep hill and not really suitable for people with walking difficulties, I think this should be stated in the details of this particular trip...but apart from that, I will definately be using Leisuretime in the future.......

Overnight trip to London, 20th & 21st March 2008, to see Terracotta Warrior Exhibition at the British Museum and the Golden Age of the Pharoahs Exhibition at the Millenium Dome. Our driver, John, was very helpful throughout the trip. He ensured we had regular \"comfort breaks\" and organised our exhibition tickets for us. It was a very relaxing trip, no concerns about parking or traffic. We stayed in the Devere Devonport Hotel next to Greenwich Park. It was an excellent hotel, far above our expectations. The breakfast was most varied and plentiful. We had spare time and managed a trip to the Royal Observatory. The overall price was very reasonable and i would recommend this company to others. I hope to take more trips with them in the future. Thank you for a most enjoyable two days in London....
