Travelstyle ... utter joke. Cancelled self drive weekend with less than 3 weeks notice, due to so called contractual difficulties. Was offered same hotel for following weekend or alternative on opposite coast of England. Customer service had no reasonable excuse for cancelation and just repeated T & C\'s that they can withdraw from agreement up to seven days before planned break/holiday. All the blame was passed to hotel but when i contacted hotel direct was told Travelstyle had cancelled booking. BEWARE OFFER CHEAP DEALS BUT CANNOT DELIVER... TWO-BOB COMPANY !!!!!!!!...

i will never travel with travelstyle or book a holiday. went to pontins brean sands it was the pits and the chalets were disguisting, the sooner britiana group does some refurbishing the better. the trip down was horrific what should took 2hrs 3hrs at most was 6and a half and that was from birmingham.the coach driver was:nt very informative he didnt even tell us his nameand had no idea of timesof trips. i do:nt he should be drivingyou should look in to it the coach he was driving for wigan coaches he deserves the sack never again...

Well where do I start we booked an holiday to go to the edingburgh tattoo and it was a total disaster from the word go.Having to pick a feeder bus up it was total chaos no one knew what coach to get on no one seamed to care all the bus drivers were fed up and could not care less, eventually when we got to the hotel, the driver knew that we would not go to some of the places what we had booked to go to like Forth William when we got to the Edingburgh tattoo he said don\'t stop for the fireworks when we got there some other people were in our seats.I sent a letter of complaint never had an apology at all from this company which I think is really disgusting. I think a lot of false advertising is going on here just to get your money....

Received notice that our holiday,which we booked months ago,five days before departure. We were offered alternative holidays which were not suitable and then with the proviso \'if places available\'so we could have been unlucky again! We were told that we could book the holiday at a later date but, if it were more expensive, we would have to pay the excess. We have written to the company to express our displeasure and will never ook with them again. Now we know why they are not affiliated to ABTA! ...

I thought i must let you know of the terrible time we had in a hotel booked by Travel Style. Who had supposeably checked the Hilton Royal Hotel in Eastbourne out. On arrival we were greeted with paint fumes. After searching for the place as the windows were covered in plastic and piles of scaffolding dumped in front of the building. After trying to get the attention of the person in the reception she mentioned where the stairs and lift were. Opting for the lift,as it didn\'t say it was out of order or that it was unsafe,we got stuck between the first and second floor. We pressed the alarm button several times no one came to our assistance after ten minuits we tried other buttons and it jolted down another floor. Eventually getting to the room which we conciderd a safety hazerd as the window would only open a few inches,as the paint fumes could be smelt up stairs in the corridors and no fire escape.The wardrobe could not be opened more than a few inches as the bed was so close. The breakfast was an unpleasant experiance a pot of tea already made before we came down was luke warm and a spoonfull of cearial already in the bowls,cooked breakfast was on a tea plate and left a lot to be desired. The stressed out young lady seemed to have served everyone single handed. We did not stay the other night booked. The manager was not in the premmises and didn\'t phone as suggested. We did receive a one day refund only after complaining several times. Giving Travel Style a second chance was a Big mistake we would never book with them ever again. ...

Went to pontins booked via travelstyle (self drive) with my 6 year old little boy, Mum and Dad. Took us 1hour to check-in. when arrived at appartment it was disgusting hole puched in two doors the bath/shower had bad mould round and was freezing. There was a Double bedroom and a single bedroom then there was this HORRIBLE!! sofabed in front of patio doors straight opposite the pub. The window was broken so anyone could get in. We complained which took us yet another hour Queing!! Asked for a transfer and was told this is what travelstyle had booked us into. The linen hadn\'t arrived because of the rain, they came to fix the window at 8.30PM and had to fetch our own bedding and linen at 9PM. If it wasn\'t for my 6 year old boy we would have come home. Take this out of your Brochure rRavelstyle before you loose anymore customers. The appartments were disgusting!! ...

Driver got lost doing pick-ups, late to bus stations, scruffy appearance, failed to pick up passengers at Chesterfield, looked very tired. Used his mobile phone whilst driving, hit kerbs, reversed at railway level crossing, turned left at a no left turn sign at traffic lights, went through red lights at crossroads and drove in the overtaking lane on the M1. The most frightening and dangerous driving we have ever experienced in our lives! Arrived only just in time for our show, tired and angry. Response to complaint took too long and was extremely poor. Will try to get a better resonse from the Managing Director. In the meantime, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you have good life insurance!...

Went to Easbourne with Travelstyle from 19th to 22nd August 2011. Was picked up in Sutton Coldfield Birmingham at 11.15am and arrived at Hopwood Services at approx 12noon. Hopwood Services seemed very un-organised. Not for the faint hearted. A lot of OAP\'s standing around for about 2hrs with nowhere to sit. Good job it wasn\'t raining! Eventually arrived at Hilton at approx. 8pm due to trafic delays etc. Advertised as 4 days and 3 night holiday, I would disagree. Departed Hotel at approx. 9.30am and arrived back at Hopwood Services at approx 13.30pm. Was a bit more organised this time round. The cost of the holiday was £100 plus £24 single supplement. Eastbourne itself was very nice but not the hotel. Had to ask for a room change after 1st night as the room was next to the lift and I could hear it moving from floor to floor making its announcements. Would not recommend the Hilton Hotel. Food seemed to be on ration. Would I use Travelstyle again? Not likely. Would have to do a lot of research on hotels and if they change the Hopwood arrangments....

Travelstyle don\'t own coaches or hotels, they hire which is how they keep their prices low. I\'ve had lots of breaks with them and had only one hiccup last Christmas when I didn\'t get picked up for an hour and half because the driver had no idea of his way round St Helens and he was held up by people who just didn\'t turn up ie a party of 6 which he waited for. I went to Torquay and avoided the snow, Waters Edge where we were made very welcome. Just been to London, Palace & Parliament and the coach was like a Shearings Grand Tourer and the nicest driver you could wish for. The Holiday Inn, Stansted, was a little way out but when you\'re not going in the Palace til half 12 its no big deal and was OK for a 1 night stay. Also the single room supplements are great. Travelstyle - my first port of call for holidays in Britain. ...

I have just endured the most inconsiderate and unprofessional rude and disgusting behaviour from your staff and your service.I was and still am mortified how I and my family have been dealt with in these circumstances. My Twin Sister booked a tour for myself her and my mother (whom are 57 and 87 years of age.)My Twin Sister Tina unfortunately passed away suddenly on the 13th July 2011, However on my contact to yourselves asking if we could postpone the dates which were the 25th July 2011, which also was my sisters funeral. and go at a later date we were told we would loose our monies,just as blunt as that the staff were arogant and didnt want to know the reasons all though i told them they were not interested NO just you will loose your money.I would not mind if we were trying to cancel we only wanted to re date the trip.I would like all your readers and customers to know how heartless the staff within your team are. and god forbid anyone else is put through the tourture which you added to our greif for our Sister. I feel you should send all your staff to training for communication skills and shear common sense in light of the issue regarding this matter. I am so very angry that you made a very difficult time for my family in to one hell of a nightmare with your actions.Take me from your data records I or any of my family will never be travelling with you again ....

just back from a weekend break on the isle of wight with travelstyle. boarded the coach in east midlands at 8.am arrived on isle of wight at 6.50pm (disgusting) at coach interchange not even got my name on right coach trip had to run around 15 different coaches to see where we should be, ended up at a totally different hotel to what i had got stated on letter. hotel room had black mould growing on walls window and curtains, broken furniture and far less than student accomadation. NEVER AGAIN WILL STICK TO CAMPING...

We have just had a fantastic self drive weekend at Scarborough s GRAND HOTEL.We paid £62.50 each for a seaview room with jacuzzi bath,breakfast and evening meal (eat as much as you want And a 1 hour free bar ! 2 were serving at the free bar and we both had 5 drinks in the hour!The grand has had such a bad reputation...god knows why it was great and so were the staff.I have no complaints at allabout Travel style tours....

Just been to Torquay on Drivestyle (took our own car).Branch of Travelstyle. Half board Had a lovely time. Rainbow Hotel very good, bit old fashioned, but in an good way. Warm rooms with en-suite,tea and coffee, good food, staff helpful. Hot in-door swimming pool. Entertainment. Had a really good time....

my husband & ijust returned from paris ,although the journey was long & time consuming bothways thats more to do with road condions & trafic volume The quality inn hotel was good for 3* as only booked last minute & expecting 2* but breakfast very basic. The hotel was on the out skirts of Paris but not far from a train staion/metro link. we bought a 3day visitors pass 20e unlimeted travel on bus,Metro,R.E.R.& once you work the system out you can get to most places I have limeted walking capsity but although Paris is not the most disabilty friendly place ,if you try a few schoolchild french phases e.g/ bon jour etc, you can get around quite well. just be aware of lots of beggers/con artists/thieves same as in any city.The beer/ drinks ware expensive 9/10e apint 3/4 e cold drink/tea ,food not so bad,look around for offers. allin all had a great time. we would go with travlstyle again as we had agood diver on loverly feeder coach and avery knoladgeable good diver keith for our main coach,The free trip around paris was good!So thanks travelstyle for the value for money trip. We would book again with you...

we stayed at the seagrove hotel at sandown and we were looked after very well.but getting there and getting back was a nightmare.i have to thank salus coach driver rob for getting us home safely.im sure if it was up to travelstyle we would have been abandond at walsall.needless to say we wont book with travelstyle again\'...

Eastbourne - April 2009 Spent 3 hours on coach before leaving the West Midlands. Hotel, no choice of food, poor quality and cold. Coach driver advised passengers to complain. We paid extra for named hotel to find out that Travelstyle only use one hotel in Eastbourne! The journey back was equally poor. We complained to Travelstyle but they came back eventually and said that no-one else has complained so next step is we will go to trading standards. As an ex-travel agent we are not getting fobbed off for what was an expensive holiday only to receive a cheap imitation....

Went to london for new year with travelstyle. Hotel was changed which was dissapointing as we booked the 5 star hilton metropole. The hotel we stayed in thistle barbican was nice enough but much further away and not as classy as the other one. Our whole reason on going to london was to go to see fireworks and big ben etc. Because of distance back to hotel and availibility and cost of taxis we were unable to do this. Wouldnt recommend this tour to anyone really as it worked out expensive getting into town as there was nothing by the hotel....

I have recently been on a London theatre weekend with travelstyle. My friends and i had a fantastic time, the driver Robert was brilliant, humourous and knowledgable about London. However, i was disappointed not to arrive in London until 2.10 when a travelstyle opeator old me we should be in london for 12.30. In addition to this the hotel; Holiday Inn Stantead was too far from the city - took 2 hours to get there due to traffic and distance. Nice hotel but nothing around. I feel the hotels used should be closer to the city as this is already a long, tiring weekend without the need for extensive travel to accommodation. Othewise we had a fantastic time....

Our main coach tour destination was Liverpool of which we spent just two hours the rest of the time was spent in the coach on slow moterways to our hotel miles away in Didsbury nr Manchester Our itinary said evening entertainment which the hotel knew nothing about so for two nights we were trapped in the hotel with nothing to do. Very bad organization of the schedule it could have been a good trip with a bit common sense. Will never use this company again I have wrote this review as no one will reply to enquires at travelstyle...

booked for chatsworth house and chesterfield xmas market also castleton christmas illuminations on sat/sun we only had 2 hours at chatsworth have been before to the house but if you hadn`t you would not have enough time to look around the house the stalls were poor not as good as last time. got to hotel in didsbury yes didsbury back tracking , hotel was great rooms lovely modern clean .meal wasn`t great but for what we paid couldn`t complain.told breakfast at 7.30. ready to board coach at 9. 00, well the coach had had it windows smashed in. so instead of sending out a new coach the driver was told to bring the coach back to birkenhead and bring back a new coach which left us hanging aroundthe hotel till 11.45. why why did travelstyle just bring out a new coach and the driver take the damaged one back,but no we wasted 3 hours then told we did not have enough time to visit castleton . in all the totel xmas shopping time we had was 5 hours over 2 days . this is totaly unaceptable we spent more time on the coach , by the way on the way to chesterfield the wipers broke what next. we did not get there till 2.00 when the stalls were packing up infact there were many empty stallsnot very well organized just common sense needed. very dissapointed...

Returning from N Wales, the driver \'forgot\' to drop us off in Barnsley, taking us to Doncaster. He promptly attempted to put 6 of us onto the feeder coach to Cleethorpes.He stated that he could not remember picking the 6 of us up in Barnsley.He did eventually take us back....

have been with Travelstyle on many trips but the last one to London was a trip from hell. Driver was full of road rage and it ended with a rally of foul words . At one point left the coach unattended . letter of complaint sent and we were discusted with an off of £10 each off our next trip with them if taken this year. i have responded and cancelled our next trip with them losing £70 depoit but thats how strongly we felt , would never travel with them again. ...

travelled to oostende 22nd august2008 did not recieve an itinary stating that we where going by shuttle and also about feeder buses, this was not stated in the brochure. i also requested seat for long legs as i am 6ft 4inch tall which on booking you gave me, when my invoice came you had given me seat 46 and my partner seat 27 after phoning you again you gave us seats 46 and 47 these seats were the shortest leg room on the bus we had to sit sideways to get our legs in resulting in leg cramps. we have booked to go to london on the 13tg september2008 this saturday again you have given us long legged seats i hope you have got it right this time, the seat numbers must be the ones on the drivers side, also we have not recieved any intinery for this trip this is poor communications. on a good point the admiral hotel was value for money and made us all feel welcome, would go again but would travel with a different company....

London Freedom Weekend My husband and I went on this trip on the 30th August 2008 hoping to have what amounts to free time in London. After arriving at what was supposed to be a central London hotel, it was in the docklands about 30 minutes by tube, at approx 2pm we were told to wait on the coach by the driver whilst he sorted things out, he came back and told us that our rooms were not ready but we could put our luggage in a bar area, the problem being that we had to make sure we removed them before 5 pm so in effect limiting us to staying around Canary Wharf, when various people complained about this, his reply was nothing to do with me I don\'t work for travelstyle, they have just hired me and my coach (the coach must have been one of the oldest of its kind) if you\'ve got a problem ring them. When asked what would happen to our luggage tomorrow, the same reply, ring travelstyle, which we did, it was a complete waste of time. The hotel room when we were finally allowed in was in need of attention to say the least but the most unpleasant part about it was that the temperature was 28+ because the air conditioning didn\'t work anywhere in the hotel. You get what you pay and in Travelstyles case that is not alot, poor service, the cheapest room and pot luck whose coach and driver you get. ...

My daughter and her partner went with travelstyle for a New Years weekend break to Disneyland, Paris. They wanted to celebrate the new year after having a death in the family and a few other depressing situations. The coach broke down twice on the way there, the \'hotel\' was in an area surrounded by graffiti and looked like the buildings were due to be demolished. The hotel was filthy and the sheets hadn\'t been changed. It didn\'t have a restaraunt and there was nowhere to get any food. It was in the middle of nowhere and NOT in Paris. They survived on a couple of packets of crisps and were absolutely starving by the time they got home. On New Years Eve they arrived Disneyland at 10am and weren\'t picked up again until 1am the following morning. All in all they had a really miserable time on what should have been a well earned rest. ...
